The biggest chanterelle I've ever seen was found at Pinicon Ridge Park, on the hill just down from the observation tower. It was perfect, bugless, and the size of my head. I coveted it, alas I was not the lucky person to find it. But anyway, here's an illustration of that big, beautiful Cantharellus.
