Artomyces pyxidatus is wayyyy cooler than Ramaria. It's also not even remotely related, being a wood decay fungus in the Russulales. The base of each branch starts out very thin, and proceeds outward in an almost cone shape as it develops stacks on stacks of little spiked parapets.
